Cultural events are often held during festive holidays such as Zambia National Day and Christmas.

TAU-Zambia has several clubs that organize various events. Some of the main clubs include:
- Sports Club
- Literary Club
- Medical Club
- Cultural Club
- Social Club
These clubs enable students to form a bond outside the classroom and unite according to their favourite activities. It also enables students to gain much needed experience in the real world. For example: the Medical Club organizes medical camps where students gain hands-on experience dealing with patients. The Social Club helps students to give back to society and the lesser privileged by participating in community service and also through donations and charity work. These activities provide students with a holistic learning environment that is essential in their journey toward becoming great doctors.
